What lands in your account

Your invoice. Your number. Your terms.

This is an invoice issued through HOAcrew’s invoicing tool, in your own name and at your own number. It lands in the community’s consolidated view.

How the money moves

  • Credit or debit card

Stripe's rate for running the card. Stripe charges it to the paying community on a line of its own, and Stripe keeps it.

  • Bank transfer (ACH)

Stripe charges the paying community its ACH price on a line of its own.

Card and bank payment inside HOAcrew run through our payment processor, and that connection is not open on this deployment. The prices above are what each rail costs when it runs. Today every invoice is issued, sent, tracked and settled here, and each one is paid to the company that issued it on the remittance details printed on it.

You issue your own invoice, under your own brand and numbering, on standardized terms. It lands in the community’s consolidated view on HOAcrew, they pay your company on the remittance details it prints, and the payment is recorded against it there.

An example invoice. The $1,450.00 figure is illustrative; every other figure on this card is imported from the module that prices the platform.

Approval, firm by firm

Joining is free. Being approved is not.

Approval repeats per management company, not per community, and it is the one charge that grows with you.

Getting approved with a firm

$49 a year, per management company. It buys a review by a person and stands whichever way that review goes — 2 business days on a complete file, 30 days to fix anything it raises.

What the review checks

Staying current

No charge, and no way round it. Three documents before you can bid — general liability, workers’ compensation, and the credential your trade requires. Business registration is collected and verified too, and it sits on file rather than deciding a bid. A W-9 is collected and verified in the same review.

Every document, and what each gates

How the approval fee scales

$49 × each management company × every year

One approval covers every community that firm manages, so the fee follows firms and never doors. Add a firm and it repeats; it does not step up, and there is nothing above it.

What approval costs a company each year, by the number of management companies it stays approved with. $49 for each firm, every year. These counts are illustrative: there is no discount at three firms or at ten, and no volume tier — the fee is the same for every firm.
1 management company$49 × 1$49/yr
3 management companies$49 × 3$147/yr
10 management companies$49 × 10$490/yr

Counts shown for illustration. Every firm is the same $49 — no volume tier, no minimum, and nothing charged for the communities inside a firm.

What you are being paid for

The work is yours. The record is ours.

You price it, you send your own crews, and the contract is between you and the community. HOAcrew holds the file that proves the work happened.

Put your employees on it — priced per employee

Moving the money

Each rail, and who charges for it.

Card processing is Stripe’s and goes to Stripe. A bank transfer arrives in full. Drawing a balance early is optional, and that one is ours.

Credit or debit card
2.9%+ $0.30
Stripe’s price for running the card. Stripe charges it to the paying community as its own line on the invoice, grossed up so the line also covers Stripe’s cut of itself, and Stripe keeps it. The line is capped at 3% of the amount due, and HOAcrew absorbs whatever Stripe charges above the cap.
Bank transfer (ACH)
Free
Stripe charges the paying community its ACH price on a line of its own.
Quick payout, if you draw early
$35 + 3%
Optional. Charged once, on that draw, and never on the normal schedule.
